With our first activations in the gaming industry, we have directly set up two extraordinary event formats for our customers in the Brand Building sector on the largest platforms of the scene.

As part of our commissions for the technology Startups e.telligent and digitalwerk, we organized two-day team events for the companies at Gamescom, the world's largest entertainment trade fair, and the established tournament series ESL ONE: CUBE's responsibilities ranged from the conception of the event format to its implementation (e.g. travel planning, hotel management, event support, organisation and supporting programme) and post-event reporting for both startups. Due to the holistic event organization, we ensured a smooth process both at ESL ONE in the LANXESS Arena, which was sold out with 16,000 spectators, and at Gamescom.

The selection of the events was not arbitrary, but based on the feedback from the annual employee surveys conducted by CUBE. The surveys are part of the model-based branding process that we follow at the technology startups e.telligent and digitalwerk. These surveys are used to analyze the interests and hobbies of our customers' employees, among other things. The survey identified the topic "Gaming" as a widespread interest among employees at both e.telligent and digitalwerk. Based on this feedback, we designed two special event formats around two highlights of the gaming scene: the team events at Gamescom and ESL ONE.

We would like to thank e.telligent and digitalwerk for the trust they have placed in us during these events and look forward to implementing further formats in the up-and-coming gaming industry.

In September 2019, the entire automotive industry looked towards the 68th International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt am Main. The IAA brings together the best automobile brands, new players in the industry, start-ups and suppliers and is regarded as the leading international mobility platform. For the Audi driving experience, the motor show thus offers the best environment for presenting the diverse range of driving experiences.

At the Audi driving experience stand, visitors to the world's most important motor show not only received detailed information about the many different driving experience programs and the various training offerings. The contact persons on site also informed the guests about the various possibilities offered by the AUDI AG Driving Experience Centre in Neuburg / Donau.

The Audi driving experience center offers the best conditions for product presentations, meetings or conferences. True to this year's IAA motto "Driving tomorrow", the newly published Audi driving experience catalogue provided an overview of the driving experiences during the 2020 winter season. The highlight of the trade fair appearance was the outdoor taxi rides. On a parcours, the Audi driving experience enabled the guests to experience the driving experience in an Audi e-tron and an Audi Q7 up close.

As part of its appearance at the IAA, CUBE brand communications supported the Audi driving experience by presenting its range of services at the trade fair stand.

The signs for CUBE are clearly pointing to growth. The agency proves this by winning a new multi-year project: from September 2019 we will act as official Safety Events Partner for the multifunctional driving and traffic safety centre Safety Park in Bolzano. The client is STA - Südtiroler Transportstrukturen AG.

With the commissioning of the Safety Park Bolzano, we are not only expanding our Experiential Marketing division with another major project. As we are acting as an independent marketing partner for this project for the first time, we are also expanding our range of services in this division. The aim of the partnership is to increase the utilization of the Safety Park. This partnership also aims to increase awareness of the entire plant beyond the South Tyrol region.

On this basis, founder and managing director Frank Fichtner sees a clear mission for the agency: "Within the framework of the partnership, the central goal of CUBE is to develop the Safety Park Bolzano into a well-known, brand-independent and internationally accessible driving, riding and incentive platform". In addition, Fichtner is positive about the future: "The project is another milestone for our agency and we are very much looking forward to the new challenge as a Safety Events Partner. Our many years of experience in the field of Driving & Riding will help us with this task".

In addition, we are often available as interview partners for dissertations and academic theses (master's and bachelor's degrees) with our scientifically sound know-how. The doctoral students come from the University of Bayreuth, the HAM (Hochschule für angewandtes Management) and the HS Mittweida.

As part of our business segment experiential marketing we initiated in October 2018 the motorcycle program "GS Riding Experience" in cooperation with the Safety Park Bolzano in South Tyrol. We have extended our existing modular driving program to include a tour variation called "Friuli", which covers various regions in Austria and Slovenia as well as other new highlights.

The starting point of the recently launched GS Riding Experience was in the German town Berchtesgaden. Our BMW motorcycle partner MTR Tour served once again as a tour guide along the 1,400-kilometer-long route. In addition to the majestic scenery of the Bavarian Alps, the many scenic roads (e.g. Passo di Pramollo, Panoramic delle Vette, Nockalm Road, Plöcken Pass) showcasing breathtaking views were considered highlights of the four-day tour. During the tour through Austria, Italy and Slovenia, the participants completed various technique and offroad modules amidst dreamlike mountain passes and gravel roads as well as demanding forest trails.

"The expansion of our GS Riding Experience entails not only an excellent driving experience for our customers, but they can also expect an impressive accompanying program", the managing director Frank Fichtner expresses enthusiastically. On one hand the customer is entrenched in the intricacies of the vehicle and on the other in the corresponding regional distinctions, as per Fichtner. The diverse range of culinary specialties from the respective countries paired up with overnight stays in exclusive locations, lend the GS Riding Experience its unique flavor.

In July 2019 FC Ingolstadt 04 hosted its eighth sponsor tournament. As a partner of FC Ingolstadt 04 we gladly accepted the invitation of the club. The team of CUBE brand communications, consisting of employees of the two divisions Experiential Marketing and Brand Building, celebrated the tournament victory directly at their first participation.

A total of eight sponsors and partners of the former Bundesliga club duelled on the artificial turf pitch directly behind the Audi Sportpark. The focus was on the fun of the game and the exchange with other club partners in the sporting environment. "I am very pleased that in the second year of our partnership with FC Ingolstadt we were able to set up a team that brings together employees from both our divisions. Furthermore it's always nice to get together with the other partners of the club outside the games of FC Ingolstadt", says Managing Director Dr. Michael Schilhaneck and adds: "We would like to thank FC Ingolstadt 04 for the invitation and the great organization of the tournament and look forward to defending our title next year!

Since our establishment in January 2018 our agency has stood for an outstanding team spirit. This year`s summer festival strengthened our solidarity because for the first time the CUBE employees were accompanied by their respective partners or families.

Surrounded by an idyllic atmosphere at Ingolstadt`s quarry pound, the employees were greeted by a warmly decorated beer garden on the grounds of the beach volleyball club MTV Ingolstadt. The sand courts were used for our joint matches. A dip in the lake brought the essential refreshment following the beach volleyball rounds. Besides a food truck serving up a wide range of burgers, the physical well-being of all those present was attended to by a huge selection of beverages.

"The attendance of so many partners and family members shouldn`t though be taken for granted", expresses the managing director Dr. Michael Schilhaneck enthusiastically and adds: "This clearly visualizes how content the employees are at CUBE. Solidarity within CUBE is a key component for our agency`s success, therefore we will continue to organize extraordinary team events to intensify the bond.

Since becoming operational in January 2018, we have acted as official partners to both professional sports clubs FC Ingolstadt 04 and ERC Ingolstadt as part of our business segment brand building.

For the automotive engineering developer BFFT Electronics, we were responsible for the negotiation and acquisition of the rights within the framework of their sponsorship of the former Bundesliga team FC Ingolstadt 04. Besides football we are also active in the area of ice hockey. From season 2018/19 onwards we have overseen the sponsorship of ERC Ingolstadt by the aerospace service provider BFFT aeromotive. This area of responsibility covers the negotiation and acquisition of the sponsoring rights as well as their implementation and activation. The spectrum of services by our agency supports our customers in establishing strong employer brands.

The baby boom arrived at CUBE: In the last few months, we have welcomed the little offspring of our colleagues four times. CUBE offers particularly good conditions to combine family and job.
